(1609) Eastern horizons

Sometimes the view in Tokyo can be very surrealistic. Like here, looking at its central part from the artificial island of Odaiba (お台場) in the Tokyo Bay. The obvious oddity is there since 2000; initially it came as a loan from France but because it became very popular, the Japanese decided to make their own copy that would stay there permanently. Its height is about 37 feet -the real one is 151 (without the pedestal).
