Smoking is not allowed on the streets of Tokyo but this doesn't stop several people from doing it. Most carry portable ashtrays to keep sidewalks clean but there are some who prefer the simplest solution i.e. throw their cigarette butts down. Disgusted, one of our neighbors decided to set up this small installation to remind them what they should do -the sign says "throwing out garbage is prohibited".
